A game by Swansonge

meteors is a simple arcade game about shooting meteors developed for Playdate. It's inspired by Asteroids and was my attempt at learning the mechanics of Playdate game development in Lua. 

Designed to be played in short bursts and made for chasing high scores! Feel free to leave your high scores in the comments.

Accessibility

Use the Playdate's menu button to access the game's options and accessibility features:

• Turn the crank controls on/off -- the crank is used to control the player character but that can be turned off in the menu. Turning off the crank controls allows the player to instead control the character with the up and down d-pad buttons
• Turn the music on/off
• Change the language between English and Japanese
